About This Safari

Starting with a late afternoon arrival in Arusha, you'll head straight to Lake Manyara National Park - a compact gem along the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Dense groundwater forests give way to open floodplains and the shimmering soda lake, home to enormous flocks of flamingos, hippo pools, and the park's legendary tree-climbing lions.
The highlight of the itinerary is a full day descending into the Ngorongoro Crater - the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa's most reliable Big Five destinations. The crater floor is a self-contained ecosystem where lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and black rhino share just 260 km² of pristine habitat.
